NOTE: New Memories are added from time to time...

July 28: Bobby Russ
Day 5: For those who were not aware, Renee loved the beach, fish, and other ocean creatures. Many of our vacations included either time in the water, going to an aquarium, or time at a beach. Our home has included at least one aquarium throughout our life together.

When company came down, often that focus came up as well. I remember fondly her taking people to the beach (either with or without me depending upon whether I had to work). But it wasn't about the beach alone either. Like me, she loved to learn more and see how the world worked. The photo included here is one such time. She was learning a bit more about the barrier reer islands and what they did for our shores here in Florida. What we learned with signs, online, etc helped us.

With much fondness, I remember how inquisitive she was about things. Problems could come up and she was great at researching them or finding out who may have the answer. In life, she tried many different paths. They weren't always right, but they did help her to learn. Lessons from previous mistakes helped her grow. She would then take things she learned and passed them on. I loved the many memories I have of her and I talking about fish, beaches, and how things worked.

I love that. Learning about all the little things that make our world turn. I can be the same way. Always the.... “but... why?” 💙

I miss my friend so much.. I do not know how you and the girls are managing it. Charles and I can't stop thinking about her. She wanted the 4 of us to go on a cruise.. it just never worked out where we could. I love all the memories you are sharing. She was one hell of a person.

I agree with Christina, I've dealt with many many ppl leaving this world, but never a spouse, I don't know how your keeping it together so well, other than the fact that she wouldn't want any of us sad over her being gone, she would want us to celebrate her, and you have been by sharing these wonderful pictures and memories. She was an amazing person, so sad that I'm learning more about her now then I ever could..

I love the way she was always asking questions and trying to figure something out. I will forever miss her and the way she made the world better
